Everyone having tried to print files from a directory either gave up or ended up doing it from the DOS-interface after trials with cut and paste that never seemed to end, depending on the file size. The problem is that not only the text, but also the entire file is copied which again may lead to problems when one pastes for example soundfiles on a an empty WORD-document. The solution is this software which comes as an .exe-file and and should immediately be opened not saved again. Then it copies the contents of a folder to the clipboard from where it can be pasted into WORD or a notepad. Alternatively the download as HTML-file is possible.

This is a treasure box of art, old and new. The most impressive section would be the "Famous Artists / Art History Artists"- subsection of the "Browse by Arts"-section. It has links for artists' names and then the works by title. These lead to thumbnails of paintings which can be clicked to enlarge. Links go to different resources, hence the displays vary.

A truly scientific calculator it "handles vectors, matrices, complex numbers, quaternions, coordinates, regular polygons and intersections." For more information there is an overview. The program is available in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese. The author used to sell this program, but it is freeware now. In the standard version it still says it its shareware, but in the Readme.txt of the "pro"-version it is explicitely labeled freeware. The syntax is perhaps not quite obvious to users not familiar with mathematical programs, but there is a help section.

This SE gives semantic relationships and explanations to words searched. As a result to a query there is a graphic display (Flash-Player required, free) of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives and their relationships as fuzzynyms, synomyms and antonyms. Every term in the display shows a definition upon mouseover. A good example is a search for "single". There are English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Dutch interfaces available with the respective linguistic contents behind them. .
